Police and Fire Memorial

"In Our Minds and with Our Appreciation"

    The Town of Davie Police and Fire Rescue Departments are building a bronze statuethat captures all the pride and confidence, decency and determination that we see daily in our police and fire personnel. The statue will be called “Davie Protectors” and will honor not only those that have made the ultimate sacrifice, but also to those who have served honorably, who do so now, and who will do so in the future for our community.

    We will be conducting numerous fund-raising campaigns in order to raise the funds needed to build the sculpture that will be placed in Bamford Park. These fund raising campaigns are independent of any town funding. By supporting this tribute you honor our Police and Fire Rescue personnel at a time in our history when it is essential that their efforts be reinforced - for they are the individuals who strive to make the Town of Davie a safe place in which to live and do business.

    We are launching our campaign to sell memorial bricks to supporters of the memorial as a way to recognize your support. Each brick may be purchased for a price of $40.00 and will be placed around the memorial statue. These bricks would make a wonderful way to remember a special person or event; a child's birthday or perhaps a friend or relative that is in law enforcement or fire rescue.

For supporters who wish to make a more substantial contribution we are offering a series of commemorative plaques. You may purchase a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze plaque depending on the amount of your contribution from $500 to $5,000 and up. There will also be awards for smaller contributions varying from $50 to $499.

For a smaller contribution we are offering a set of commemorative pins, one each of a policeman and child or a firefighter for $5.00 each. Buy both pins and wear them proudly. Show your support for these hard working people.
